My Epson Scanner I really like this scanner. Fujitsu fi Document Scanner Some parts of our page were smoothed effectively; in others the printing pattern remained. As my desk is full of Epson equipment, I decided to purchase the Epson Photo Scanner and I have been duly impressed. I highly recommend this scanner.

The Epson Perfection Photo offers fully automatic scanning for increased productivity, plus two advanced scanning modes for greater control. It takes about 20 seconds per frame and with rolls and rolls of film my project will take a while. There are numerous other software issues pefection this Scanner in association with Macs. So, although the flatbwd to have a strong photo bias, it’s actually a very efficient and capable office workhorse.
I needed to return it the next day. Holders are difficult when film is curled.

Could buy 3rd party film holders, but I was able to get these to work. It produces good quality products. It would give you something like 6 times longer in scan time. Film loading is easy, but I question if the flimsy plastic frames actually control the film well enough. Other that that, it’s a pretty good scanner.

Otherwise, based upon the brief tour I had before returning this scanner for a Canon scan it worked fine and made wonderful scans. As a teacher, I use this Epson Photo flatbed scanner for copying images from books for Powerpoint presentations for class.
Software can be good, but you need to constantly override auto, flatbd in professional mode. Non-photographers, meanwhile, can automate the usual common scanning tasks – PDF, email, copy and scan – using buttons on the front.
This is the second Epson scanner I have purchased. Up to 12 frames of 35mm film or 4 35mm slides. Convenient film holders accommodate multiple 35mm slides and negatives, plus medium perfectlon film. Replacement Scanner I already had a scanner that was several years old when something in the light bar track system went on the fritz and it wouldn’t function.
